Man City to face Real Madrid; Atletico host Bayern

Manchester City will face ten-time winners Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

It is their reward after overcoming Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals.

It means the mouth-watering prospect of Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola facing his new club could still take place in the final.

Guardiola’s current side will face Atletico Madrid in the other semi-final.

The first leg of the tie will take place on Tuesday 26 April, with the reverse fixtures happening a week later.
