The RTP recognize and award hardworking radio and Television personalities in the year under review and according to public opinion, the award ceremony is losing it credibility as observers feel the accolades are being given to undeserving personalities.

The organizers have received much backlash from the public after the event and the latest to join is former singer and entrepreneur, Diamond Appiah.

The outspoken former singer was disgruntled when Afia Schwarzenegger nabbed the award for TV Female Entertainment Show Host of the Year.

The singer who has had issues with comedian Afia Schwarzenegger in the past is not showing any sign of reconciliation.

The actress who refers to the RTP awards as” family and friends” awards was of the view that the award could have been given to another hardworking, dedicated and eloquent female presenter than Afia who is verbally abusive, unprofessional and worked for only 3 months on and off in the year under review.

It is only a joke of an institution that will award a verbally abusive unprofessional who worked for only 3 months on and off in the year under review n ignore the hardworking, dedicated n eloquent female presenters that have worked so hard with good ratings throughout the year. Next year kindly remind me to buy some awards for my dogs at home Bcos they are more entertaining than some Jokers u awarded," she remarked.
