The much-anticipated Chale Wote Street Art Festival has began at James Town in the Greater Accra Region.

Produced by ACCRA [dot] ALT, the arts festival will bring together industry players including artists, musicians, community activists, writers, designers and students to showcase and discuss ways to develop the arts industry.

This year’s edition which is the 5th in a row is on the theme, “African Electronics.”

This year's event promises other exciting side attractions such as: series of conversations on arts; historical tours; The Open Runway; The HighLife Music Café; High energy processions as well as The Nubuke Hub.

On display will be the works of Ghanaian artists; Bright Ackwerh, Benjamin Okantey, Adjo Kisser, Faustina Nsoh and Nana Ofori Atta Ayim.

The festival is scheduled to take place from 20th – 23rd August, 2015.
