Girl bathes boyfriend with acid because he refused to marry her

An 18-year-old Indian girl in a village called Jaam in Ballia, a suburb of that country, has been arrested for allegedly bathing her 20-year-old boyfriend with acid after he told her he would never marry her, reports Indian Times.

Inspector Sandeep Singh from the Ballia police station say the victim, Rajkumar Pal, was in a relationship with the girl, who was allegedly pressuring him to marry her but he told her he was not ready to marry her as he had someone his family had chosen for him.

She was said to be very angry at his decision and therefore threw acid on him for rejecting her.
