A Delta Airline pilot and crew were faced with some not-too-pleased passengers after the plane had to be diverted because of bad weather, and to appease the disgruntled passengers, the Delta crew ordered some pizza.

With torrential rains pouring through Atlanta earlier in the week, a  Delta flight from Philadelphia to Atlanta was diverted to Knoxville, Tennessee but soon enough, pizza was delivered to the aircraft via baggage cart which quickly cheered the passnegers.

Apparently, this was the case with other passengers on other delayed Delta flights as they reported similar feasts.

Commenting on said feast, Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant said:

"It's part of an effort company-wide when weather disrupts our operation to get food and beverages to delayed customers,"

Talk about great customer service!
