According to Mashable, staff at Disney World have had to stop the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (one of the rides at the park) several times because of riders using selfie sticks.

To this end, Disney staff have placed a notice which informs visitors of the ban of selfie sticks while on rides.

Visitors are however allowed to use the sticks in the park while not on the rides, they are also allowed to bring the sticks on the ride, but they must be safely stored away.

Disneyland is posting similar signs at Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain in Anaheim, California.
