The zoo in Santa Catarina said the cub, Clara, was rejected by her mother shortly after her birth, but zookeepers have been caring for her for the past two months and she has been receiving goat milk laced with vitamins every few hours.
Zookeepers said they are planning to reintroduce Clara to the facility's lions when she turns 6 months old.
