Alejandro Camanõ confirmed in an interview with footballmadeinghana.com that his client is ready to take over the Ghana coaching job if approached.

“Cuper is unoccupied now. He will be ready to coach Ghana if given the opportunity,” Camanõ told footballmadeinghana.com

According to Camanõ, Cuper sees Ghana as a country with great talent capable of achieving many laurels when handed the job.

“Ghana is a strong team and a great country that can undertake a huge project and achieve many glories.

“Mr. Cuper is full of ambitions and dreams. He is always working like that and lives the dream of every nation as he did in Egypt,” Camanõ explained.

Cuper also masterminded Egypt’s journey to the final of the AFCON in 2017 which they lost to Cameroon in Gabon.

“Mr. Cuper also likes the slogan of the new President of the Ghana FA #BringBackTheLove,” he added.

Kwesi Appiah’s contract with the Black Stars wasn’t extended by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) when it expired in December.

The hunt for a new coach has just begun and some indigenes have already shown their desire to replace Appiah.

There has been mixed reaction on whether Ghana should go for a local coach or a foreign one.

Hector Cuper is an experienced manager who has handled many clubs including Parma, Inter Milan, Valencia, Real Mallorca, Real Betis and many others.

He has also handled many national teams including Georgia and Uzbekistan.
