Assistant Chelsea coach Gianfranco Zola advices Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay
Bayern Munich have reportedly made a third offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi and the player seems interested in the move to the Bundesliga.
It is understood the new offer made by the Bavarian giants is in excess of £30m, according to the reports.
However, it is believed that Chelsea will hold on to Hudson-Odoi until they receive £40m- which is how much they value the player.
Reports in the UK suggest that, Hudson-Odoi , who has less than 18 months left to run on his current contract, has refused to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and is keen on a move to the Bundesliga.
"It's about patience. I believe he has a bright future with us, but he will have to learn that right now for him it's important to get better and better every day," Zola said.
"I know Bayern is very interested in him, but we're interested in him as well. For 18 years old, he's got a lot of potential."
"I know he hasn't played probably as much as he wanted, but this is down to the quality of the players in front of him. I've already told the player: it's not a waste of time. It's a time you can get better.
"You have to understand the journey's not finished. He's at an age where it's very important to keep a good attitude. It's not important playing straight away, playing 20 games, it's important to develop."
The 18-year-old forward made his senior debut for Chelsea last year January in a 3-0 win against Newcastle in the FA Cup, but he is yet to make a start for the Blues in the Premier League.
