Ghana Premier League side Elmina Sharks have parted ways with 12 players according to reports.

Several Ghanaian clubs have been struggling to pay the wages of their players because football is not in session, limiting their sources of revenue and Elmina Sharks have released 12 of their players to reduce their wage bills

Former skipper Tetteh Nortey, Isaac Mensah, Ebenezer Coleman, Edward Ebo Mends and former Aduana Stars striker Tanko Mohammed are among the notable stars whose stay at the club have been cut short.

Also, Charles McCarthy, Emmanuel Essuman, Isaac Quainoo, Joshua Opoku, Sampson Eduku, and Theophilus Adom will have to look elsewhere when the top-flight finally resume in somewhere next Elmina

According to reports in the media, the club's technical team is also expected to undergo a massive shakeup in the coming weeks.
