Ghanaian player Rahim Ayew was toast of the fans as he scored a cracker when FC Europa defeated Lions Gibraltar on Tuesday night in the Gibraltarian League.

The right back collected a pass from a short corner kick and toe-poked it thunderously into the net to make it 3-1.

Ayew who has featured 12 times for FC Europa and has missed just a match for his side this season.

He has been instrumental in FC Europa’s successful campaigns since joining them three seasons ago in the Gibraltar topflight league.

FC Europa top the Premier Division table after 13 matches with 31 points; two more than sworn rivals Lincoln Red Imps.
