DR Congo fashion designer directs his ingenuity towards combating AIDS in her country.

Democratic Republic of Congo condom dress designer, Felicite Luwungu, is directing her fashion design potentials towards anti-AIDS activism.

According to the fashion designer, the designs represent her own small way of sparking debate about safe sex in the country.
“I lost a few members of my family to HIV. I also wanted to do my bit to highlight the need to protect ourselves from sexually transmitted diseases and HIV,” she said.
The condom-made designs come in two forms; one combines a series of condoms stuck on top of each other, while the other is made up of condom packs ‘woven’ in the same manner.

Many people have praised her creativity in helping combating AIDS.
