Serena Williams shows of her flexibility on the cover of the August issue of New York Magazine, pulling off an amazing split.

The world number one women's tennis player stunned in the series of fierce and provocative shots taken by Norman Jean Roy.

Serena though tdid not expect to have such a long career.

“one of the most sustained careers of excellence in the history of athletics,” the 33-year-old said in an interview with the magazine.

“I didn’t think it would last this long.

"Even if it was over, it’s a really long career.
