Amir Khan is "100 per cent confident" he can upstage and dethrone WBC middleweight champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez on Saturday.

Khan is the underdog in the blockbuster bout in Las Vegas as the British boxer moves up two weight divisions, having never fought above welterweight previously.

However, the 29-year-old is upbeat about his chances against Mexican Alvarez, whose one and only defeat in 48 professional fights was to Floyd Mayweather in 2013.
"I'm up against a great fighter but I'm 100 per cent confident I can go in there and win this fight," said Khan.
"I also feel a bit left out, being one of the best fighters in Britain but not holding a world title.
"Being the underdog, I want to prove I belong at the top. This is my time."
