The selfie drone or self-flying Camera, call it what you may, is the brain child of lily robotics, a tech company founded by students of Berkeley.

The selfie drone is controlled by a small remote with a Global positioning system, that is worn on the user’s wrist.

It will officially be launched around February next year, but in an official tweet, lilyrobotics is asking people to pre-order.

Co-founder of lilyrobotics, Henry Bradlow, said "It's all about getting the shot. Lily takes care of all the flight."

He added that lily’s is unique in the sense that:

1. It tracks its user and captures cinematic footage

2. The device is waterproof.

3. It can fly for 20 minutes.
