Who should pick the wedding ring?

Who gets to pick the wedding ring for the lady, the groom or the bride, the person who is going to have wear it?

Traditionally, men picked the wedding bands, because just like in the case of engagement rings, there is a certain romanticism to the idea of allowing your groom to surprise you with your ring.

However, what happens if the lady does not like the ring, what does she do?

Does she pretend to like it for the rest of her life or convince her groom to change it without hurting his feelings?

Personally, i think both should go and pick out something together because your wedding band will remain on your finger each day for the rest of your life, therefore, both you and your fiancé must love it.
