John Legend Will Stream a Free Concert to Fans Today
If youre looking for something to do while self-isolating, then take a front-row seat (er, well, the best seat on your couch)this afternoon, will perform live from his home and stream the entire show on Instagram, beginning at 1PM PST.
This news first appeared on the singer's Twitter account. According to Legend, he was inspired to perform for fans after watching Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, perform on Monday, as part of a safety among Global Citizen and the World Health Organization.
As part of his performance, Legend said he will perform few of his greatest hits and also take requests from fans live. Legends wife, model Chrissy Teigen , also announced that she would make an appearance during the livestream. (On Twitter, Teigen has already been fielding requests on Legend's behalf, including a request by actress Mindy Kaling to perform The Office theme song and those from fans to sing popular commercial jingleslike the Karz 4 Kids anthem.)

Legend joins other artists including , , and P!nk who have all recently turned to social media to stream solo performances in the wake of canceled concerts and for fans' safety, amid the spread of the coronavirus.
