Hanks and Wilson had been in Australia shooting the upcoming Elvis Presley movie when they began feeling some mild symptoms and decided to get a test; as it turns out, the pair (both 63) tested positive for the coronavirus.

"Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?" Hanks wrote in a post shared to both his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Gobert was the first NBA player to test positive for the coronavirus, and as early as a few days prior to his test was mocking the sickness. His positive test is what led the NBA to suspend its 2019-2020 season . A few days before, he made a point to touch every microphone and recorder in front of him:

The All Star center issued a statement after his positive test. "The first and most important thing is I would like to publicly apologize to the people that I may have endangered," he wrote. "At the time, I had no idea I was even infected. I was careless and make no excuse."

Mitchell, Gobert's Utah Jazz teammate and fellow All Star, was the second NBA player confirmed to have contracted the virus. In reporting his positive test, ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski said that Gobert "had been careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings."

Mitchell spoke about his positive test in an Instagram post. "We are all learning more about the seriousness of this situation and hopefully people can continue to educate themselves and realize that they need to behave responsibly both for their own health and for the well being of those around them," Mitchell said in an Instagram post.

Daniele Rugani, who plays soccer for both Italian Serie A club Juventus and the Italian National Team, is the first player in Italy's top soccer league to be confirmed as testing positive for the virus. According to Al Jazeera, Rugani and "those who have had contact with him" are in isolation, and he's not showing any symptoms of the disease.
