Show will not return after it's 6th season

The Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning show 'Downton Abbey' will not be returning for another season after it's sixth - TV Line reports.

According to the report, 'Downton Abbey' s decision to conclude the show is due to the desire of the cast to move on to other projects with their contracts coming to an end.

'Downtown Abbey' has starred the likes of  Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Brown Findlay, Lily James, Rose Leslie, Sophie McShera, Dan Stevens, Maggie Smith and many more.
