Actor to feature in Russian director's new movie

American actor, Steven Seagal has been named as one of the stars to feature in Russian Oscar-winning director, Nikita Mikhalkov upcoming production.

Not willing to disclose the upcoming movie's plot, Mikhalkov was quoted by the Russian news agency, TASS, as saying 'He (Seagal) brought a project, and we discussed collaboration. He wants to make it with our studio [TRITE].'

The 1995 Oscar winner for best foreign-language film disclosed that the film is to be made as a co-production between Russia and the United States, with both countries having an equal share in the project.
