Watch Jennifer Lopez in new TV series

The actress recently revealed the promo for NBC's new cop drama, on Twitter this week.

With Shades of Blue, Lopez returns to the screens as Det. Harlee Santos, a single mother who's love for her daughter keeps her grounded on the job.

According to reports, the 13-episode series follows the story of detectives who keep their city safe, but are also corrupt.

Co-producing with Ryan Seacrest, while Barry Levinson is directing, Lopez appear in a police uniform alongside Ray Liotta as Lt. Bill Wozniak and Drea De Matteo as Tess Nazario, a cop and mother of three.

According to hints from the actress, the TV series is expected to make its debut in the early hours of 2016.
