Captain of the Black Stars of Ghana Asamoah Gyan is set to sign a mega deal with Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.

The 29-year-old is expected in China on Wednesday, July 7 having received permission from Al Ain to agree on personal terms with the Chinese big spenders.

Shanghai SPIG who is being coach by Sven-Goran Eriksson will pay a huge fee to Ai Ain for the player.

Local reports from Ghana suggest that  the former Sunderland striker will earn a staggering sum of US$ 350,00 weekly.

Gyan made the shock move from Sunderland to Al Ain in 2011 and enjoyed four successful years with the  United Arab Emirates club.

He won the Arabian Gulf League three times and also emerged semi finalists in last season's Asian Champions League.
