Louis van Gaal has splashed a £35m price tag on the Spanish shotstopper who is keen on a move to Real Madrid.
The Red Devils are a are yet to receive a bid from Real Madrid for De Gea and are reportedly prepared to stick to their £35million valuation of the goalkeeper.
De Gea has only one year remaining on his contract and has refused to sign a £200,000-a-week contract extension to remain at Old Trafford.
United are also looking at the possibilities of getting Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos and undefined.
