At least 5 killed after military plane crashed

The Airbus A400M aircraft was undergoing trials at San Pablo airport this morning and fire crews are currently battling the flames.

It is not clear as at press time how many people were on board, but it was reported that three persons have been confirmed dead, two injured and others unaccounted for.

Five people have died after a military plane crashed into a field near Seville airport.

According to Spanish defence ministry, the Airbus A400M aircraft was undergoing flight trails at San Pablo airport in Southern Spain when it crashed early today May 9,

Report says no military personnel was on board – all the people on board were Airbus workers.

The aircraft was being tested before it was going to be sold to the Turkish Air Force.

“We confirm that there has been an accident with an A400M in Sevilla. At this point, we can confirm that the aircraft is MSN23, an aircraft foreseen for the Turkish customer,” the Airbus Defence and Space said.
