Hackers disrupt transmission of Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather fight

During the highly publicised fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, some viewers across America experienced service disruptions.

On their twitter page, the Lizard squad claimed responsibility for the technical hitch that viewers experienced during the fight.

According to DownDetector, the following networks experienced transmission challenges: Charter, Time Warner Cable, DirecTV, Dish Network, and a host of others.

It is not clear why the hackers decided to sabotage the transmission of the highly fight.
