President John Dramani Mahama has asked driver should be discipline on the road and respect other road users during this this festive season.
In his Christmas message to the nation, he said high number of road accident is recorded during this festive season, which usually leave injury to driver, passengers and roads users and sometimes loss of life and property, which causes distress and pain to love ones, family and friends.
The President said drivers should put a stop to over speeding, over loading, wrongful overtaking, drunk driving, texting while driving and pay attention to road traffic regulations to ensure their safety and that of passengers.“Your loved ones, family and friends and I need you alive. Be discipline on the road by respecting other road users; put a smile on the faces of your loved ones and family by getting to your destination safely. Drive safely.
