This issue started when the Belgian privacy monitor picked a hole in Facebook’s revised privacy policy.
After studying the document, the privacy watchdog, came out with a report, saying "Facebook trampled on European and Belgian privacy laws."
They also said that the social media giant did not co-operate with investigators.
In a rebuttal, Facebook’s spokesperson said "Facebook is already regulated in Europe and complies with European data protection law, so the applicability of the efforts is unclear."
