Commercial music streaming service, Spotify, has added video, podcast and radio streaming services to their offering.

According to its CEO Daniel Ek, the new service will be available first, to subscribers in the U.S., U.K., Germany and Sweden.

This move will see Spotify, sharing from the huge digital market dollars that runs up to $7.77b.

An analyst from research firm, eMarketer, Paul Verna said the new services just launched by Spotify, is a "logical extension of the company's success in digital music streaming, since these are complementary businesses that use much of the same technology infrastructure, marketing expertise, and vendor relationships."

Adding that it is a clear sign that Spotify "sees a business opportunity in digital video advertising, which is a much larger and faster-growing sector than Spotify's core business of digital music."
