Daniel Rigmaiden, a lawyer who was jailed for carrying out fake tax return schemes, claimed during his arrest, that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) spied on him.
His claims were dismissed as false.
In jail, he stuck to his gun and decided to research on the matter. He finally discovered that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)Â uses secret surveillance devices that act like fake cell phone towers.
He said it was these devices that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) used to catch him.
Right from jail, he discovered that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) used Stingrays to spy on people.
Armed with this research finding, he tipped off the American Civil Liberties Union.
Following his findings, Rigmaiden was ordered to perform community service.
