The Black Queens played the first leg of the second round game against Tunisia away from home but managed to secure a win despite Patricia Mantey getting a red card.
Tunisia scored the first goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 33rd minute as they went into the interval leading the Black Queens of Ghana.
Ghana however equalized 15 minutes after play resumed.
The game took an interesting twist when Tunisia were awarded another penalty with goalkeeper Pat Mantey getting sent off.

Nana Ama however saved the penalty kick with Princella Adubea scoring the winner for Ghana with six minutes to the end of regulation time.
The Black Queens of Ghana will return to the country on Friday with second leg of the tie set to be played next Tuesday.
