Forward delays medicals because of fatigue

Argentine forward Angel di Maria delayed his medical at Paris Saint-Germain because he was too tired.

The Manchester United forward is on the verge of completing a £44.4million move to Ligue 1 side PSG just a year after coming to the UK from Real Madrid.

Di Maris was to undergo a medical yesterday, Monday, August 3 but delayed it because he was too tired following his 20-hour trip from Argentina.

The 27-year-old arrived in Qatar on Sunday August 2 at 7.30pm after taking off from Doha at 1.35am.

On arrival, Di Maria headed straight for the Torch Hotel instead of the Aspire Centre where he was to have his medicals.

He arrived at the centre this morning to finally complete his medicals .

Di Maria  will travel to Paris to officially sign his contract, a four year deal, understood to be worth £170,000 after tax.

Di Maria refused to join his Manchester United teammates on tour in the United States America choosing instead to stay back at home till his move to PSG was sorted.
