Body renames tournaments

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) during its last general congress in Egypt remade all but one of its tournamnets.

Only the African Nations Championship was left out of the name change as the CAF Executive Committee decided that that all national team tournaments hence forth would be called Africa Cup of Nations and would be distinguished by their gender and age grade.

Africa Cup of Nations, African Nations Championship, Africa Women Cup of Nations, Africa U-23 Cup of Nations and Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Others are; Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, Africa Beach Soccer Cup of Nations, Africa Fustal Cup of Nations , while the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup remains.

Also, the Executive Committee  fixed November 18, 2015 as  the draw  date for the  final tournament of the Orange African Nations Championship, Rwanda 2016.
