Super Eagles midfielder Emmanuel Emenike has joined United Arab Emirate side Al Ain according to several reports.

Pulse Sports understand that the Fenerbahce striker was snapped up by  Al AIn as a replacement for Ghanaian striker Asamoah Gyan who undefined side Shanghai SIPG.

Emenike we learnt will be unveiled by the Abu Dhabi - based Pro - League side Al Ain FC on Thursday, July 9.

The move however is said to be on a temporary basis as e signed a one - year contract extension with Fenerbahce before joining Al Ain.

The 28-year-old did not have the best of time last season with the Yellow Canaries.

He scored just four goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season and fell out with the club supporters.
