Swansea City striker, Jordan Ayew, says he is not overly concerned about his lack of goals, insisting his priority is to help the club avoid relegation.

Jordan Joined Swansea from Championship side Aston Villa during the January transfer window. However, the former Marseille forward is yet to hit the back of the net, having already played six games.

The striker earned a start in Swansea’s weekend encounter with fellow relegation battlers Middleborough, but he again drew a blank as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

But Jordan insists his barren run does not matter at this point, insisting his sole focus is to help the club maintain their status in the topflight.

“If we win games, we will still be in the Premier League next season," Jordan said in an interview with Jack Magazine.

“And if that happens, I will be the happiest person in the world.

Swansea’s latest draw means that Paul Clement’s side lie just a place above the relegation zone, and with some tough fixtures coming up in the next weeks, the club will be facing a defining moment of the season.
