The Porcupine Warriors have failed to win in any of their last three games, dropping to third on the league log in the process.

The club’s latest setback came on Wednesday when they lost to Medeama at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Having taken an early lead, Kotoko spurned the chance to go top of the league, with Medeama staging a comeback thanks to two penalties to win the game 2-1.

And the club’s assistant manager blames poor officiating from referees for the team’s recent poor run.

“What is happening in Ghana football is sad if this is how referees are going to officiate games,” Ablordey said in aftermath of the Medeama game.

“Against Hearts of Oak there was a dubious penalty and today too the first penalty was a dubious one.

“It is sad for Ghana football but we will just forget about the defeat and move on.”

Kotoko currently lie third behind WAFA and Aduana Stars.
