Paintsil did not start the game for Ferencvaros but came on as a super sup when his club travelled to the town of Bulmazujvaros to face the side at the bottom of the Hungarian League log.

Balmuzujvarosi FC led at half time by 2-1 and the club who are currently 2nd on the log need to keep the pressure on the league leaders Videoton.

Manager of Ferencvaros Thomas Doll called upon Joseph Paintsil to come to the rescue as he brought on the 19 year old for striker Tamas Priskin in the 46th minute.

Painstsil did get the equalizer with a well taken shot with amazing finesse and power into the right top corner after dummying defender Laszlo Tamas.

Joseph Paintsil has scored his 3rd goal in 5 appearances in all competitions.

Speaking to the media after the game, Painstil said the number of goals he has scored have made him comfortable.

“Scoring 3 goals in three matches I feel very happy as a player it is not easy. God being on my side everything is going on well. I am very happy for scoring 3 goals out of 5 games."

The midfielder has scored 3 goals out of 4 premier league games but Paintsil was still modest on his fortunes as he gave 10 to 11 goals as his personal target at the end of the season.

“My target for the season I cannot really say but I want to score at every chance I get.”

“I will like have to target 10 to 11 goals at the end of the season.”

Roland Varga scored a penalty in the 78th minute to get Ferencvaros to grab the 3 maximum points and keep their place on 2nd spot with 2 points behind 1st place Videoton.

Ferencvaros have 22 points with 11 games played whereas Videoton have 24 points.
