The Politician has had his duties doubled after being nominated as deputy minister-designate for communications.

He is also currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for the La Dadekotopong constituency, having won the Parliamentary elections in 2016.
An overload of commitments mean Odotei-Sowah has had to relinquish his post as MD for the club.
In the aftermath of Hearts of Oak’s victory over rivals Kotoko, Odotei revealed that he was quitting his post, but promised to continue serving the club as a management member.
“I’ve decided to let go my position as the head, but I’m not leaving the club. I’m just changing my role because operationally I will not be able to combine it with other things,” he said.
“But I will still hold my position in the management board, and continue to work behind the scene.”

The outgoing MD also took time to praise the home supporters for heir role in the club’s narrow 1-0 victory over Kotoko.
“I love this club and its fans so much, I’m sure they are elated today because last Wednesday we disappointed them but I thank them for coming to cheer the players on in this game.”
