NBA side Los Angeles Lakers have revealed that they are not aware of the condition of their former player, Lamar Odom who is reportedly in critical condition after he was found unconscious in a brothel near Las Vegas.
The two-time NBA winner has been hospitalised at the nearby Desert View Hospital.
Coincidentally, The LA Lakers were playing a pre-season game against the Sacramento in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden on the same evening that Odom was found unconscious.
In a statement to , Lakers spokesman John Black reacted to Lamar Odom’s situation, saying they are not aware.
"We are aware of the reports but have no information to share at this time," Black said.
"I am not aware of any of our players being in contact with Lamar."
Odom played for the Lakers for seven seasons before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks in December 2011.
Prior to playing with the Lakers, Odom played for the Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat.
He was named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2011 and won the 2009 and 2010 NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers.
