Female junior doctor set new record in KNUST Medical School

Fathia Ayodele Kareem, an alumna of the Wesley Girls High School, was sworn in as a medical doctor where she picked up 12 prizes to the adulation of many on social media.

24-year-old Charles Djugbah, in 2015 set a new record by winning 8 awards at the end of his seven-year course at the university.

Even though his 8 awards broke the then 40-year record, Charles’ record stood for just a year with Fathia setting a new height for future students to beat.

Fathia, completely besides herself with joy,  in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM, expressed her gratitude to God for seeing her through her seven year journey in medicine.
