Portland Timbers goalkeeper to resume training on Thursday

Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey is set to return to training on Thursday after missing out of action for three months due to an injury.

The 28-year-old Portland Timbers ‘keeper picked up a hand ligament injury on April 16 whiles featuring in the Major League Soccer game between Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes.

And According to Portland manager Caleb, Kwarasey could be back in full training Thursday, but also said that the 28-year-old goalkeeper would not be ready to play in time for Sunday's game.

Caleb added that the Timbers are 'hoping' to evaluate Kwarasey again next week to determine when he might be able to see minutes.

Kwarasey recently ended his self-imposed international strike and responded to a call-up from Ghana to play in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mozambique but he was unused in both games.
