Ghana’s opponent in Group D Egypt have received a massive boost as injured goalkeeper El Ekrammy returns to training ahead of their second group game against Uganda on Saturday.
Prior to the Pharoahs’ preparations towards the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2017, Ekrammy got injured and that forced the medical team of the seven-time Africa champions to sidelined him for a week.

The North African giants injury woes got deepen last Tuesday when El Shenawi limped off 25 minutes into their group opener against Mali and he was replaced by 44 year-old shot stopper Essam El Hadaary.

But Hector Cuper’s side would have something to smile for, after El Ekrammmy made a return to the team’s training ground on Wednesday.
Egypt are chasing their eighth continental glory since after failing to qualify for the last three editions.
