Ex-GBA Spokesperson: ‘Bukom Banku is mentally handicapped’

Bukom Banku has taken to bleaching to change the colour of his skin and has been going around saying that he wants to turn into a white man, so that when the ruling NDC government retains power, he would be appointed as Ghana ambassador to Germany.
Several boxing faithful are not happy with the turn of events with Braima Kamoako, since it would affect his boxing career in the end.
However, Mohammed Amin Lamptey, former spokesperson of the Ghana Boxing Association, thinks the attempt of Bukom Banku to bleach his skin colour might be psychological problem, hence needs someone to psyche him.
“Bukom Banku is mentally sick, he is mentally handicapped. How can a boxer change his colour, he is telling everybody that he is no more interested in boxing?
“At the moment he is destroying his image. Some agents even called me that they wanted Bukom and Ayittey Powers to display before the start of the Unity Games in Accra and Kumasi. I had the call a week before news of Bukom Banku came up that he is changing the colour of his body and I have not heard from them again,” Amin Lamptey told Happy FM.
