The 26-year-attacker completed a 4-year deal with West Ham at a fee of £20 million, which is a club record.
Andre Ayew joined Swansea City from Olympique Marseille last season and emerged as club favourite, finishing the season as their top scorer in the English Premier league with 12 goals.
His instrumental effort in his debut EPL season caught the attention of Slaven Bilic and joined in the race for the Ghana international’s signature.
After weeks of speculations, the deal was completed on Monday and at a club record fee and Andre Ayew has expressed his delight to join West Ham United.
“I am very proud and happy to be at this magnificent Club. I am happy to be playing for these fans and I hope to make the people very happy here." Ayew told West Ham official website.
“The Club have a lot of ambition and have a great manager. They want to become a bigger Club every year and with the new Stadium and a new training ground, you can feel they are moving onto another level and I want to be part of this project."
“I want to train hard, do my job and show that I deserve to play for West Ham United. I want to give back to the manager and the fans the confidence they are showing me."
