A middle-aged man is currently on the run after allegedly pouring acid on his wife, killing her instantly at Atwima Mim in the Ashanti Region.
The suspect, Agyarko is reported to have taken that action after having an argument with his wife, a woman living nearby told Accra-based Joy FM.
The victim, Abena Sarfoa, managed to alert her neighbour, Asantewaa about the attack, who subsequently called other nearby residents for help.
She was then sent to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
