Woman slashes husband with razor blade after she was forced to marry him 3 weeks ago
The incident happened just three weeks after Shafa Muhammad was allegedly forced to marryUmar Shehu.
The incident happened on December 16, just three weeks after their marriage, according to the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN).
Reports indicated that Shafa Muhammad was forced to marry Umar Shehu against her will, hence the action to obviously protest her stay with the man for life.

A source close to the family was reported to have said that “The husband went into her room to consummate the marriage when she attacked him with a razor blade, according to Africanspotlight.com
“He sustained injuries on the head as a result of the attack.’’

The spokesperson for Sokoto State Police Command, Ibrahim Abarass, who confirmed the incident to NAN said the victim had been taken to the hospital and treated, saying the injuries were not life-threatening.
Ibrahim Abarass further indicated that the woman had been detained and would be prosecuted for the act.
