He said Rawlings should be blamed for the corrupt practices in the country.

Rawlings in a speech on Sunday at Wa to mark the 38th anniversary of the "June 4 Revolution" said the NDC lost the 2016 elections for abandoning the ideals of the June 4 Revolution.

He said the June 4 ideals, he has often said, are probity and accountability and social justice.

He revealed that the spate of corruption that has characterised the political climate over the past few years caused the defeat of the NDC.

But Kennedy Agyepong reacting to Rawlings' comments on Adom TV said Rawlings is now reaping the seed he sowed in the NDC.

"JJ has no moral right to talk about corruption. In fact, he should stop pretending to be a saint because he is not at all. What is currently happening in the party is as a result of what he nurtured in the NDC. He now turns round to accuse others of being corrupt and greedy. How does he expect as to compare and contrast these", he asked.
