Abossey-Okai spare parts dealers deny reducing prices in solidarity with the NPP

On the contrary, the spare parts dealers say it is something they do at the end of every year to get rid of old stock.

Spare parts dealers at Abossey-Okai have flatly denied claims that they have reduced prices in solidarity with the electoral victory of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The Mahama-led administration reacted angrily to the news, accusing them of sabotage.

But leader of the traders at Abossey-Okai, Mr. Siaw Ampadu, said in an interview with Accra-based Citi FM that the cut in prices is to afford customers the opportunity to buy their products at reduced cost.

He stressed that "It is not because of Nana Akufo-Addo we are doing this.”
