SPECIAL WALK-IN SERVICE

We wish to announce that the Commission has created a Special Walk-in Service for political parties and independent candidates taking part in this year’s elections.

The Service which is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm would allow party representatives and independent candidates the opportunity to meet Members and key officers of the Commission (without prior appointment) to get their questions about the elections answered or concerns addressed. The Walk-In Service will take place at the same time simultaneously in all Regional and District Offices of the Commission across the country.

The Walk-in Service, the first of its kind, is in line with the Commission’s determination to increase its engagement with the key stakeholders of the electoral process. It will complement other initiatives being implemented by the Commission to increase access and transparency of the electoral process.

It is our expectation that the parties and independent candidates will make good use of this unique opportunity.

Thank you.

Signed:

ERIC KOFI DZAKPASU
