The two times FIFA Footballer of the Year has called time on his illustrious football career

Ronaldinho has not played any game since 2015, but he was still buying time for himself regarding returning to active football, but has finally thrown in the towel by hanging up his boot.

"We will do various events in Brazil, Europe and Asia and, of course, we are arranging something with the Brazilian team as well."

The former Barcelona talisman entertained many football fans with his dribbles, skills, incisive passes and stunning goals during the prime of his career between 2002 to 2007.

However, his reign was cut short after he became overweight, which affected his speed and his ability to dictate the pace of the game.

Ronadinho was part of the FIFA World Cup winning team of Brazil in 2002 and he also masterminded Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League triumph in 2006.
