According to the complainant, Ama Yeboah, she bought a parcel of land from Akua Donkor in 2009.
On Monday, October 23, Akua Donkor was arrested by the police for allegedly defrauding a trader to the tune of GH¢10,500.

She said relatives of Akua Donkor warned her to stay away from the land in question.

She said, she had called Madam Donkor to complain about the development but all efforts to reach her proved futile.
Akua Donkor who was granted bail accused journalists of being behind her arrest.
In an interview on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, she said "Journalists from Otec FM in Kumasi and Dormaa Ahenkro in Brong Ahafo Region and I suspect some will come from Nhyira Fm are behind my arrest."
